The sedge weaving craft is one of the traditional crafts in Vietnam. And sedge is a familiar material to make Vietnamese everyday items. The color of the basket depends on the color of the dried sedge, which is not 100% uniform like artificial materials but brings natural beauty.
The sedge is a herbaceous species. When cutting across the sedge fiber, you will see a lot of minor fibers inside, structured like a sponge, with elasticity. The most prominent of the sedge products associated with Vietnamese life is the sedge mat.

1. Usage:
- Store small items, baby items, cosmetics, clothes, etc.

2. Care instructions:
- Avoid placing in places with high humidity.
- In the rainy season, regularly bring it out to dry in the sun to limit mold.
- When moldy, use a brush to clean the moldy part with clean water, then let it dry naturally.
- You can remove the lining fabric for cleaning. The lining is ivory white (slightly yellow) because it is undyed raw cotton fabric. So it does not affect health and the environment.
