Some benefits of silk bedding includes:
- It is breathable and airy, helping to prevent acne on skin;
- The softness and smoothness create great comfort for the skin and body;
- It is hypo-irritant, so it is safer for sensitive skin compared to cotton or other types of fabric. This helps limit acne, itching or redness;
- Its smooth texture does not cause tangles and dry out hair. In addition to silk bed sheets, silk pillowcases will also be a great choice to keep your hair soft and moisturized.
Special note
1. Care instructions:
- Wash by hand, then gently squeeze and dry flat.
- Avoid using the washing machine in hard mode and do not iron with high heat. Doing so will result in silk being scratched or torn.
- Treat stains as soon as possible before they dry out. Mix 50:50 water and silk washing detergent (or shampoo/body wash added with some vinegar). Dip a cotton ball into the solution, then gently rub it on the stain on both sides of the silk.
- Dry in shade, away from direct sunlight to preserve the color.
- It is recommended to use shampoo, body wash or detergent dedicated to silk. Harsh detergent will likely cause color to fade.
- Make sure the bed sheet is completely dry before storing.
- Store in a cool, dark and dry place.
- Natural silk wrinkles easily, so it is recommended to hang silk products instead of folding.
- Steam iron to preserve the silk better.

Goûttobed is a Vietnamese brand that specialises in superior quality beddings using local materials and fabrics. Just six years ago, it was a big challenge to find high quality and reasonable bedding products in Vietnam. This when Phuong, founder of Goûttobed, who is a lawyer by profession decided to establish Goûttobed and fill the void in the market
Phuong came up with the idea after thoroughly understanding the concerns of the consumers and using the expertise from her family's garment business. After sewing custom made beddings for a few families, she slowly built Goûttobed as a premium custom tailored bedding brand.
At Goûttobed they believe that on an average a person spends a third of their lifetime in bed and they want their customers to cherish that experience.
