- Before lighting, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch. This helps prevent soot and ensures a clean burn.
- Remove any decorative items like flowers or leaves from around the wick to avoid catching on fire. Always burn your candle within sight.
- Choose a location away from drafts or open windows. Drafts can cause uneven burning and safety hazards.
- For best results, burn your candle for a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 4 hours per session. Burning for too long can be harmful.
- Place your candle out of reach of children and pets, and away from flammable materials.

As a handicraft and fragrance enthusiast, Tham figured out her calling for candle making while making meaningful and healthy gifts for her beloved ones.
