Black sesame oil, or dark sesame oil, has a dark and intense color, which is made from roasted sesame seeds.
Black sesame oil has a distinctive aroma and flavor. This type of oil is suitable for stir-frying, braising, or drizzling over dishes after they are cooked to enhance their flavor.
If you want to use sesame oil as your main cooking oil, golden sesame oil would be the better choice.
